If his speedo is right, it looks like half the cars on that highway are doing at least 100mph ??? - does not seem real to me.

You must be kidding with that video?? Take your eyes of the clearly erronous speedo and look over the windshield. As he goes past the T junction at nearly 200mph, it looks like the view I used to get from my FS1E.

absolutely. Disregard the speedo and look at the speed the surroundings move at. It's totally out-of-scale and is nowhere near 200mph. You should know that after 180 odd at Brunters - it's one hell of a lot faster than that vid.

We debated this same vid on the BMWCar forum and came to the conclusion it was rubbish.

The 200+ clips on their busa are MUC faster than the OP clip here.

F##king nuts, 215 on the busa, wheelying at 130 into tunnels - bonkers,

Yes i agree it looks slow, but put that down too the age and poor quality of it, and the fact that the bike is mor than capable of doing it on any stretch of road longer than 1.25 miles. Why would you fake it.. pointless.

Perhaps it is true, after all neither your nor I will ever know, but I don't think it is. I'm also not sure that a 'Busa will crack 200mph on a road of 1.25 miles' at the drop of a hat, despite what the figures say. Actually riding a bike at that speed takes some doing.

However unlike you, presumably, I have never ridden a 'busa so I'll defer to your superior knowledge.

Not nearly as far off as some of you are saying, there is only a very short stretch where he is fully on the beans and that doesnt look too far off - not really worth the effort of faking to be honest, the bike will do there or there abouts and there is no doubt he's way the wrong side of 150 ....

I call fake...

couple of reasons, the rev rise is TOO small for the huge jumps in speed he sees, and there is NO way he could brake down from 180+ as quickly as that..

I too have been "fortunate" enough to scare myself STOOPID on a closed circuit at over 190 and I'm telling you there is NO way - Bike is capable of it, I'm sure, but that just didn't seem kosher.

look at when he gases it past the black car at 2:00 he's supposed to be doing 180mph... that was more like 140, maybe 150 max !

Maybe if the busa is blown, maybe... still think it gets there too quickly.

p.s. Colin's fast bikes crew were Seriously nutzo !! That Jimmy was certifiable.... I'm really glad I gave up bikes... would have killed me for SURE
