What size wheel spacers should i get?

I have an 09 LCI E90 with 18" BMW style 189 alloys and was wondering what size springs and spacers would fit without rubbing, or is this just not possible to do both?

From what i can tell online, the wheels are staggered, 18" X 8.5 rears & 18"x 8 Fronts.

I initially want to get spacers (as they are cheaper!) and then springs.

Could anyone advise me on what sizes is should be looking at?

Its currently sitting on "sport" suspension (the factory extra, but not m sport) with no spacers.

uh, spacers and springs don't do the same thing, not even close.

It's pretty widely known with stock bmw 18 staggered fitment, you do 12mm front with 15mm rear. Or 15mm all around.

eibach pro-kit, h&r sport springs work just fine...

also, you need to post here: http://www.e90post.com/forums/forumdisplay.php?f=12

Depending on how much you lower the car, 15mm on the front will most likely rub. I would do 12mm front with 15mm rear OR 10mm front with 12mm rear.

If you do springs, make sure to the the struts as well. If you plan to re-use the OEM struts, the ride tends to be a little floaty and they will leak in a short amount of time. I've done this before trying to save a few bucks.

I did 12.5's on the rear of my '11 m-sport 335i, and I was rubbing. Id recommend 10's just to be safe.

FWIW I am currently running 12.5mm front and 15mm rear. I have a bit more room in the rear and I could probably get away with 18mm in the rear if I wanted to. I'm slammed on KW V1 coilovers too.

Yes, I'm running factory style 189 wheels. Factory tire sizes, 225/40R18 fronts and 255/35R18 rears.

I have 20mm on the rear on stock suspension. Some rubbing when I hit a dip in the road but that's with three passengers.
