E92 Sider Marker Yellow Amber LED

Hey guys, I am looking for side marker yellow amber LED bulbs, or side markers built with yellow amber LEDs. Those who have them do you know where I can pick up a pair for my car? I upgraded my rear tail lights to Euro Spec LCI and also changed the front LED turn signal bulbs to the yellow amber LED's so they all match. The only thing that stands out different is the stock side markers which emits an orange colour every time I signal, when everything else is yellow. Let me know!! Share the love!

Colour like this but I want it to look OEM, not the tacky looking housing.

Thanks in advance!

I got mine off eBay, made my Depo I believe. I had to bend the metal tabs on them a bit more to get them to fit snug but no issues whatsoever other than that, in over 6 months.

Just get the replacement LED Side Marker Bulbs from HighPerformanceBulbs and replace the bulbs in your existing housings.

That way you know they aren't tacky & they won't leak & fill with water after 2 wks

Will the standard 194 bulbs work? Such as these

Can't tell from that pic, but the thing you have to look out for when using aftermarket LED in sidemarkers is the length of the bulb - some are too long & even when fully inserted in the bulb socket, the bulb socket cannot be locked in place because the LED hits the inside of the marker lens 1st.

I know the HPB bulbs fit because that is what I have in my E92 - I tried different LED's in mine at the beginning, but they were too long...

I'd have to agree. Too much ebay junk doesn't fit right and or leaks.

I just put the HPB (High Performance Bulbs) Side Marker LED's in my new E92 as first mod but I went with White cause it tends to make people move out of the way faster on the highway

I did the 80W PY24W Front Turn Signals in Amber and I did 80W Amber Rear Turn Signals too. The 80W Amber rear turn signals look legit but they will likely require coding on some vehicles. We weren't able to work out what's causing them to error out, only on start up though. Once you cycle them the error goes away.

Also did the max output Interior kit of course too.

Standard bulbs may throw an error and or hyperflash. You need canbus.

What bulbs did you get for your white sider markers if you can show them? Might be interested in those instead. What is the max output interior kit are you talking about?

Are the HPB bulbs just wedge LEDs? I bought some from a website but they were too long and didn't fit lol. Do you have a pic of what the HPB looks like?

All HPB lighting is on our site:
http://www.topgearsolutions.com/bmw-...rior-kits.html

Max Output interior kit:

There is also a factoy output kit that is about the same brightness as the stock bulbs and an Eco kit for people who like interior kits in the $25 range.

They are Canbus Wedge bulbs and by no accident it's the correct size. Just pick up a set from us. http://www.topgearsolutions.com/bmw-...b-upgrade.html

Here is an older video of the side markers and front turn signals.

The front turn signals are even brighter now.

real DEPO sidemarker leds have perfect fitment in addition to a rubber gasket with a rubber gasket for amazing output.

here is a recent customers review.

The side markers are on the same circuit as the rear turn signals and are not monitored independently. No errors or hyper flash if just replacing the side marker bulb. No special canbus bulbs are necessary. They will flicker on startup though unless you code out the bulb check for rear turn signals.

Most LED wedge bulbs that are bright enough will be too long though.

That's partially true, we've actually seen customers who still end up throwing errors for ones without resistors. Unfortunately every vehicle responds differently. Trust me, I've owned and worked on a few E9x locally and they all acted differently towards LED's. It's very frustrating LOL.
