Who can fit my downpipes??

Just ordered some goodies for my 335i.

Vsrf dp's, 7" IC and charge pipe.

I have no issue fitting the intercooler and charge pipe, but have heard the downpipes can be a pain to fit.

Can anyone recommend a reputable garage within the Midlands area??

Thanks in advance guys👍🏻

Took me 4/5 hours to work out how to get the OEM catted downpipes off.. Had to get steering rack out the way and lift the gearbox higher with an engine stand underneath to push out the way.

Dog of a job

Good luck, hopefully that info is useful to you

I just drove up to Darren Wood in Stockport tbh. Rather travel a bit and go to a trusted garage.

My mate did his own on his 135i on axle stands etc and took him about 5 hours. Wasn't that easiest of jobs to do.

+1

I took it to a local garage who bitched about the fitment said they were shit etc etc...when I had the turbos replaced I went to DW...I queried the DP's who said they were perfect fit and no issues.
Dropping the subframce makes a massive difference...and overall makes the job faster!

Wow, bargain!

I'm getting my decats fitted at JWS Developments, £250 so not the cheapest but I shopped around and got similar quotes everywhere and I'm getting the walnut blast at the same time which is only £250 at JWS so not too bad overall I think.

That's a good price on the walnut blasting! A lot more expensive round these neck of the woods.

I need to get mine done but Im still unconvinced as to how quickly they become filthy again.

I bought my car from stockport and the owner couldn't praise Darren Wood enough. Had all his servicing done by them and any thing the car wanted really.

if I have to travel back up that way then so be it.

I want the best for my car, not a garage that has never worked on a 335 before.

thanks for all the replies guys.
