Advice needed on selling my car please.
Hi guys and gals I've been a member on here for about 6 year's so I know I'll get good advice 😉
Basically my car is up for sale and I want to know if I should add anything or take anything away and are the pictures ok and the main thing should I mention the remap or not, personally I think on a car like mine it's a selling point but I could be wrong. |

I would take better pics as a starting point, clean the car and take it to a park. Be honest and mention the remap, or you could have it reset. State all the options fitted and service history.
Good luck |

The car is polished to within a inch of its life lol thought it was clean haha
I'm in 2 minds about the remap as I think it only appeals to a very small number of potential buyer's which is a shame. |

I would mention the remap too.
1) honesty (you're not going to get away with not telling them as soon as they put they're foot down if they have experience in non remapped cars, this may put a buyer off) 2) Could swing someone looking for a 330d |

Way to much "fluff" in the first half of the advert.
Immaculate LCI 325d. Over £1k spent in the last year, including new brakes, glow plugs, controller, gearbox, filter, & egr. Rare rear seat folding option. Bluewater metallic, 19" 313 alloys, Bluetooth & Aux for iPod, and Xenon headlights. The car has a full BMW & Independent service history with the last service being a major service. The car has a remap which improves power which can be removed if not required. Next MOT due 25/03/2017...... You need to take one set of pictures all in one location. |

oh, and change the mileage from "83" to "83,000".
Nothing more annoying than cars with more mileage than you want popping up. If someone wants a car with 40k on the clock the fact one with 83k comes up wont change their mind. |

Fair point Ed I'll defluff and put the mileage back, only did that because it's in such good nick It would pass for a car with half the mileage.

I find it best when taking pictures is to park it up on your own personal driveway if you have one. Looks more legit that you are genuine private seller. |

Just took fresh pictures outside mine so should look better now.
Just going to play about with the description, it's hard getting across how good the car is and that whoever gets it next will have a really nice clean and well sorted car. |

It seems a bit all over the place and it's difficult to follow.
Talk about the car, history etc Then the Spec then your comments Then anything else.

Bin off the portrait pictures and the polishing pictures. Have a nice set of consistently taken pictures (landscape format with not such a tight crops as the image can feel 'cramped', front, rear, sides, each seating position from door opening, possibly a overall image of service receipts)
Less fluff as stated. It looks a well kept car so sporadic pictures won't come across that way. |

Still needs better pictures IMO and also, the one of the dials should show the mileage.
The fact that it doesn't looks dodgy to me. In your ad you've repeated yourself on a couple of things. I'd also get the punctuation and grammar checked.

I had really good picture's up but people said to do them all in one place and outside your house so that's what I did lol I'm no David Bailey when it come's to taking picture's :/
As for the picture of the dash it wasn't intentional to miss the mileage off it was just an atempt at an arty farty shot lol I'll throw one up of the mileage as it's just turned over 84k now. As for the grammer English was most definetly not my strong point in school so I tend to just muggle through lol Lastly I'd like to thank you for all the input guy's both positive and negetive it all helps in the end, always thought of this forum as a more grown up forum where you tend to talk to grown ups rather than pubescent teenagers |
