I'm going to swap out the rear H&R sport springs on may e90 335xi for Eibach. I have Koni all the way around. Hoping Eibach in rear will relieve me of some of the super dumped look I have.

Wondering if swaping the rear springs is something I can take on myself. I am fairly handy. Do my own brake/rotors jobs, installed fmic etc.

Any feedback is appreciated. Searched and it looks fairly easy.

Rears suspension is easy to install. Follow ECS coilover installation video as it would be identical to your installation.

two jacks is very helpful for the job.

Thank you. That youtube is awesome!!!!! Gave me the confidence to take this on myself! Out to harbor freight to pick up an extra jack and some bigger wrenches.

Very easy. Took me about 3 1/2 4 hrs my first time. Now I could do it in about 2. Find a DIY in the DIY section and print it out so you can just skim through the pages while you're working to help you out

Is it necessary to remove the shocks if all i am changing is the springs?

Yes. I believe you do need to do so.

I think I can just undo the lower end of the shock and then let the whole control arm assembly drop and the spring should come out. Have been watching vids and studying up.

rear spring install is the easiest ive ever seen and done. just lower the arm from inside and let it go down slowly as it uncompresses. swap in the new spring and reverse everything. done.
