One thing to note regarding the optical illusion of size...looking "small" or not...imho, they don't look small b/c of how concave they are. The M6 Rep wheels look large (19" wheels) b/c of the wide open 5 double-spoke design and thin outer rim, but they're not nearly as concave as the VS7s. These wheels really bulge inward, which makes them look like their 19's (which they are); you'd really have to see them from different angles to see they look as large as they are. This pic may help you see...

Ok 2nd! My new source of eye candy. The concavity on these wheels are sick. Didn't get a chance to play with the new setup on the streets...been a pretty damn busy day. Here are a couple of pics in the meanwhile.

Yes, great pics!!! :rocks: They look phenomenal on your car; I guess I have to take some better pics of mine. I knew once other ppl began posting pics of their cars with VS7s, then all those "worries" would be laid to rest.

Not sure if it's the finish or that the spokes look so flat. I was expecting them to look... well... better. Not that they looked bad but there's something about them. Just my opinion though. The performance aspect of the wheels are great.

I wonder if some ppl thought they would be a brighter, more brushed alum. like finish? I like the std. silver finish (very oem looking silver mat finish) but I bet the VS7s would look really sik in a brushed alum. finish.

Yeah I personally like the muted look. Brushed alum woudl look pretty darn good but I didn't want to wait another 10 days...and plus wasn't looking forward to all the cons about brushed alum as well. I'm hoping someone ordered these in brushed alum, can't wait to see those pics.

Just out of curiosity, what are the cons of the brushed alum finish? Do they get dirty quickly or scratch easily or what?

Had the baby in the car all night so didn't get a chance to tryout the tires...but road noise is minimal a tad bit louder than the RFTs, the ride comfort was nearly identical. One huge plus going to non RFTs was no more annoying tramlining.

Bump...I'm curious to hear also.

On a side note, did anyone in the first two group buys get brushed or polished finishes? If so, please post up when you get your wheels mounted!!!

Yeah, just high maintenance and dullness over time. Same reason why I won't ever own a Black car again.

I figured; yeah, no more black cars for me too, except of course my wife's black '07 Acura MDX...we have a good car wash/wax shop down the street from us, and my wife could care less about swirl marks, so it's ok for now.

btw -- as soon as I have some time, I'm going to take some better pics of my car with the VS7s; even my brother said my initial pics of my car with the VS7s weren't the best (although he loves the wheels)...I took those first pics very quickly as soon as I got home after putting the VS7s on my car (and they were even a bit dirty by then). I'll get some better pics posted soon.

Ok, although these pics of my car with the VS7s were still done in my driveway (not exactly the best place for "clean" pics with little/no background distractions), I think you'll agree that these are much better pics than my first batch. Plus, my car and the wheels are clean this time. I hope you enjoy...

You're right gator those pics are better. I think they might be the best looking wheels I've seen on a e9x to date. Although I am extremely biased.

Good job and thanks. I'll have pics of my black saph on Tuesday evening.

Thanks. I really like the M6 Reps...they have a very aggressive look to them and they go very well with the E90/92; probably a more aggressive look than the CSL-style wheels. However, these Morr Alloys monoforged, lightweight CSL-style VS7s scream high quality, lightweight racing wheel!!! :rocks: ..and I think they look great on the E92 as well.

A quick comparison, and my car's transformation...
