National Capital Chapter presents CHAPTERFEST 2009!!!! NEW INFO POSTED
Calendar: USA - Mid-Atlantic

Major General

By now, hopefully everyone has heard of our BIGGEST event of the year - ChapterFest 2009. It will be held on Sat, Sept 26th at Bowie BaySox Stadium (rain or shine). It is open to EVERYONE; CCA members, non-members, and all car/bike enthusiasts are welcomed!!!

For those of you who did not attend last year's mega event, we had more than 400+ people and we're shooting for well over 500 this year. ChapterFest will highlight many of our programs coming together into one huge event: autocross, concours, social, and more.

There will be a morning and afternoon autocross for your viewing pleasure or better yet, signup to participate!!! A Show and Shine will also take place in the morning, so get there early to join, watch, and/or judge.

In addition, we'll have various vendors providing services such as paintless dent removal and mobile detailing. We're also providing a fantastic lunch as well as the comraderie of many others who love anything with a motor and wheels.

We have invited all CCA chapters up and down the East Coast as they head to OktoberFest in Atlanta, as well as many of the local clubs from around the area (Porsche, Mercedes, BMW Bikers, etc). Spread the word, gather up the friends/family, and come on out for a great time!!!

For registration and to view more information see our official website HERE

Also, online registration is the ONLY way to be guaranteed an official ChapterFest t-shirt!!!!

You can also join one of the local caravans in one of these threads:

haha, Andre, didnt' know you are on this board as well (2 posts?)! welcome, this board should be more fun and more active than the M5 board.

I'm def. up for a caravan/meet up at Tysons. Where do you guys think is a good spot and what time? (I assume we have to wait till Paul give us more detail on time).

you guys should plan to get to Bowie by 10am, Show and Shine should start by 11am. if you're autox in the morning, then you'll need to be there by 9am or earlier

Garage List
hey Intense 135i, i plan on attending, how ever this Friday i'm heading to the outer banks for a week. fri to fri rental, so i'm available on that saturday, 26 Sept 2009, baring any unforeseen issue to come about. i'm thinking getting there about 11:00, would give our northern troop time to get it together somewhere local and get the wagons southbound.
if there are enough Harford Co. members, someplace near I-95, (exit 77). what do you think.

any others up here attending and want to caravan?

the earlier you get there, the less likelihood you'll have to park in the overflow gravel lot. All the close, prime-time spots will be reserved for the Show & Shine and/or Autox grid. We're gonna have everyone else park in the paved spots until we can't fit anymore people; then its off to the gravel pits

OK guys looks like based on Paul's schedule we will leave Columbia at 9am. By 9am I mean 9am. Late peeps are warned We will be travelling on 32 to 97 to 50 to Bowie. Although this is a little longer route it is better than all the lights on Rt3 and easier to keep everyone together.

10am or earlier; keep in mind that we're asking all the caravans to get there about the same time, so the earlier you get there, the better parking you'll get. you'll also hopefully will avoid the check-in lines once you arrive.

those doing AM autox should be there no later than 9am. people in the Show & Shine should get there around 9am IMO to start prepping your car (you definitely don't want to get caught in the check-in line since it'll give you less time to prep).
