Not sure if it's related but a couple weeks ago my oil filter cap pinched the o ring and squirted oil all over the passenger side of the vehicle, so I sprayed some engine degreaser and cleaned it all up. Now I'm getting this noise, anybody have it before?

You might want to remove the belt and run the engine. Narrow down if the noise is engine or accessory. If not the engine, spin each of the accessories/tensioner by hand to see if you feel any binding or hear any noise = hopefully you can narrow it down.

Gonna have to do basic troubleshooting diagnosing here. Take the belt off and turn the car on and see if noise remains.
If noise is gone, start turning the pulleys by hand (car turned off) you should feel the problematic one. |
