VRSF outlets and stock style intercooler?

Has anyone installed the VRSF turbo outlet with stock style intercooler attachments? Their site says it will work with the stock setup, but let me tell you, I had to stretch the hell out of the stock coupler to get it to fit and now its all crunched in and completely defeating the point of the new larger outlets.

Am I the only one experiencing this, or did I just do something wrong? I have an aftermarket intercooler that uses the stock style coupler and it fit just fine with the OEM outlet for reference.

RB Turbo makes a adapter that has a stock style intercooler connection with a 2.5" barbed side to attach a coupler. That should allow you to have proper sides on both. I am not sure if they are on their website, so it may be best to shoot them an email.

I'll look into that, thanks.

Did find one adapter: https://speedtech.com/collections/bm...cooler-adapter

Looks like ECS sells something similar for VW/Audi. Looks the same, but no idea if it actually is.

I didn't have any problems however that middle 'link' section is the real trick. You will be at the ends of all the silicone . I suggest getting the vbands on the outlets first, then getting the IC connection on , then get the mid section and IC pipe section on there. I used some soapy water to make it eazy to move. it fits, it's just an 'almost exact' fit.

Also put some heat reflective insulating tape / foil wrap over that mid silicone .
