Unbelievable crowed funding.

In a nutshell.

Young guys dad writes off his m3 and only has 3rd party. Dad is broke. Guy sets up crowed funding to buy new m3.
M3 was his first car.
Just came back from holiday

WTF... Like someone pointed out the in thread why doesn't he just sell his damn bike and use the money towards the M3? WTF is wrong with people... It's like "hi can you please give me a handout so that I buy myself a nice luxury car?"... Im about to start playing the violin for him.

Wtf,is this guy for real! His dad smashed his car so tough sh1t,my parents taught me don't drive or borrow anything that you can't write a cheque for if you break it,and that's what I'll teach my new born son.
Can't believe the charity page hasn't declined him.
My sister wanted to open one for me,here's why'9 weeks ago I was rushed into hospital with jaundice(my skin & eye balls were bright yellow),severe itching, weight loss and being having no energy'. They thought my liver was failing,I was on the verge of a liver transplant, before anyone asks,im a 40 year old non smoker, only drink once if that a week and eat very healthy and would've classed myself as being very physically fit. After 6 weeks in Warrington hospital,I was transferred to the liver specialist queen Elizabeth hospital Birmingham where I spent 2 weeks, now I have to go back every 2 weeks and am on around 12 medications 3 times per day,I'm still jaundice (minion look a like, that's what my niece says),I'm slowly on the road to recovery & am under close supervision by specialists. I'm on statuary sick pay & can't get any help from anywhere, and to make matters worse,I missed the birth of our first child who was born just over 4 weeks ago whilst I was in Birmingham hospital,my partner is awesome and has coped brilliantly & kept me sane, she is on maternity pay,so we are absolutely skint & bank can't help with mortgage. So my sister thought one of these sites charity pages might help,I wouldn't let her as I know there is people with worse health than me,so I think this guy is a f8cking joke & I would say this to his face!!!!

First world problems...my M3 got written off.

Guy lives at home by the sounds of it, he's already getting plenty of charity. Not sure how the dad was driving, pretty fast and into a wall by the looks of it..

He's got a brass neck.

I did think I was going to see a huge total on the page. It's only at £80.

There's loads of people using websites to raise money for one cause or another. I really don't trust them at all. I'm sure many are genuine, but I also think a lot are just making people money.

'Donate money for my new m3' ????

This is an insult to anyone who works hard in life to fulfill dreams of owning luxury cars.

I didn't clock until later I've known the guy over the Internet for a few years, through sim racing.

He must still be quite young?

I also remember that his family were fairly flush with the cash.

It sounds as if he's had a bad idea with the advice of someone, now realises how daft he had been. He's used his normal username as used elsewhere.

The bad idea has brought him.bad attention.

LOOOL, this is too much!!

Although its a messed up situation that he didn't have control over, people go through hard times all the time that are unplanned but people don't ask for donations.

By the looks of things he has options to sell his bike and get an M3. Not many people would have that option.

Apparently the M3 was collateral against the bike finance.

So chances are the finance company may see the M3 doesn't exist and force repayment of the bike finance. Either in full or Repossession.

Or the M3 was on finance so he never actually owned it, Just the debt.
