Custom 3'' single exit; 1-2-1. With high flow cat, vibrant race resonator and a valved muffler.
I'm reusing the dummy switch in the lower part of the console to open/close/auto the exhaust valve.

I wont go dual for 2 reasons :
- I want to keep the wagon storage
- I dont want to relocate the evap canister. the new rear subframe is installed anyway already.
- single exit sound way better

and +1, mustafa setup is insanely good looking. I wont do that unfortunately, but I will detail the engine bay.

The speed tech kit comes with a 2 piece down pipe. The bottom pipe is split into the 2 piece flange. Stock exhuast under wise with secondary’s deleted. Will be going single exit soon enough it’s always been on the bucket list of things to get done.
Yes it is a bmp forward facing manifold.
The docrace manifolds had clearance issues with the ofhg and is over priced so I settled for this one. Docrace has the best looking manifold in my opinion

I ordered the Speedtech 6466 kit and the BMP red manifold (stock location one) for the aesthetic of it given my red intake and red silicone vacuum lines. Thank you everyone here for the help. I had bought a B6 S4 as a project car earlier this year and sold it to fund this project so wish me luck.

nice.

The manifold seal come with the kit, no need to buy.
On the list I made, you want to add stainless steel tyewrap for the heat wrap.

Wow you dont miss anything with the B6 S4, those engine are heavy, prone to understeer and not enough torque at low RPM for a v8. What year ? chain or belt V8 ? chain are expensive to maintain.

A b5 S4 is more fun, but imo, the 2.7tt is way worst than and bad maintained N54.

I did a excel sheet, with prices, links and pros n cons for my project :

- e91 N54 ST swap
or
- Audi A4 Avant 2.7tt k04 swap.

BMW wins, for few reason : more modern with CIC and comfort access, more power for the money, xdelete possible, way more part, way more support and way more DIY friendly.

I still own my Avant with a stage 2 2.0t, and its faster than a b6/b7 s4.

Sorry not the exhaust manifold, I bought the BMP red intake manifold. I have port injection but just the plate with the stock manifold and am going to get rid of the black waffle. And it was an 05 sedan. The only thing it had was a slight coolant leak and the control arm was slightly bent due to a curb. Swapped out the control arm but didn't fix the coolant leak, didn't have the car long enough to fix it

I was referring to exhaust manifold from the speedtech. It's not mentioned on their website, and a saw a thread that a guy need to buy the 6 exhaust seals.

However, turns out now speedtech include them in their kit. I bought a set for nothing.

My first choice was precision 6266, but the pulsar got very good review and was way cheaper, iirc it was 300-400$ usd cheaper?

I went with the 6262bb gen 2 pulsar. It has coolant line connections (i dont think precision got it).

So far so good, but I did not put ton of mileage, its my fun car, I have 5 , so I run it not that often.

Keep in mind the kit alone cost me 6k$ cad , shipped in Ontario. (options : turbo blanket and filter)
And it's not 100% complete ; mac, heat management, sealant, teflon, ss tye wrap and probably a couple of other small stuff = +/- 150$

Then all supportive mods ; ic, tune, charge pipe, bov, cc, exhaust, pcv, meth/port/di, etc ... Its endless.

I saw a post on an other group this week, a guy asked what would be the cost of a ST from stock, people were like : around 2-3K$. lollll until someone was like. Guys ! a ST conversion is relative, but depending on how many diy, expect 8k$

I've wondered about th pulsar; I'm really interested in a g35-1050 type turbo but I didn't see a pulsa equivilent on the speedtech site, do they offer one?

pulsar has the equivalent, the 68mm series. They do 'copies' from most major brand.

I can assume speedtech can order what they want from pulsar. They probably wont be able to guarantee the fitment tho. Email them

My 6262 is pretty close to everything.
