In all honesty, i'm enjoying this waiting game...how sick is that??? It keeps me excited, I like the tracking, I like talkingt to you guys about your experience with your orders. It's a good way to kill some downtime during the work day.

When i ordered my car, the CA told me END OF MAY gauranteed, as my production number was set to go into production...ANY DAY.

I have a feeling he is wrong. The 800 number just said "end of week 20". That puts me at the end of June to see the car(I am in NYC).

My issue is not the wait, it's with being without a car, since my e90 should be taken over with 2 weeks.

Would I be able to push my dealer into me a loaner if he is proven to be way off? Has anybody ever been able to work this out? i don't even care what it is...I just need "something"...

That movie is a true classic!!! It's underappreciated.

As far as the car, I travel outside the city for work several times a week. I also use the car to leave manhattan every weekend.

As far the name, I did want to my last name up there(not sure what I was thinking

) so I emailed the site admin.

That makes sense. I have a cousin in the city and she leaves every weekend too. She pays a lot for parking all week!

Definitely a classic movie.

As for a loaner, I have heard of it happening, but I would be very surprised if they did that. I would think you would need that in writing when the deal was done.

But if you catch them in a lie, it can't hurt to try.

I feel for you but not too much. A week after a put my down payment on my ED someone crashed into my e46 and crashed it. That was Jan 04. I'M STILL WITHOUT A CAR!!!!! 5 MONTHS!!!! I'm just lucky my wife and I work next door to each other.

I doubt it. I know when I mentioned to my dealership that mine was crashed they said they couldn't loan me one that long. I'm sure by now I could but than again I'm not in town right now either. I'd think for a few weeks they might but probably not longer.

I would wait until this week is over.

If you are Week 18 (and I think you may be), your baby will go into production as scheduled.

My CA swears it will be this week...even though the 800# (live person) STILL says "Week 20" and the 800# recording (and OC) says "on Order with no confirmed production date".

On Monday (or Tues, or Wed) we will know...

My CA is saying the same exact thing. 800 number says week 20, no date, and CA says week 18.

On a sour note, I got a Speeding ticket tonight in my e90 330. And now I am getting a 335

Dont know why but I cracked up after reading this.

The first time I drove a BMW was in a friend's 330ci I went 80mph in a 50mph zone (didnt even realize it til I looked at the tach). Best car ever!!
