Hey, does anybody know if BMW has a new MF for May? I know in March it was 0.0165 and last month when I got it, it was 0.0175. I'm hoping that it will go down so when my car arrives, my payments will be lowered.

I'm in the same boat as you, I ordered in April, if I would have placed the order in March, I would have paid about $10 a month less, I was hoping May would be better than April.

On Bimmerfest, they are usually posted in the ask dealer section around the
5th of the month.

Which build week were you in? Mine was week 17 and completion date was on April 26. And I have been getting "Released to carrier and awaiting transportation to the port of exit" since last Friday when I call the 800 #. How long did it take for your status to change from mine to arrived and port and waiting for vessel?

on 4/24 the 800 # said I was at port awaing shipping vessel.. when in actuality I was already on the vessel for 3 days.. I called my CA and he told me I was on a vessel but didn't have the name, once I figured out I was booked I went to the WW website and put my VIN in and the rest is history

Man, you're lucky. It only took 2 days for your car to get from completion to the port. And then another 2 days from the port onto a vessel? I hope that my car is at the port waiting and the 800 # just hasn't updated yet.

Can't wait to see pics of your car. Do you plan on going to any of the meets in NY/NJ?

Bimmer, I'm sitting at the port of exit with you. Mine finished the same day. The 800# guy said told me today that he thinks we'll be loaded this week. Then it's up to our own tracking abilities from there.

As long as I get confirmation on when the car gets onboard a vessel, then I can probably track my car with the vin through WW.

It's good to see that I have somebody to share the anticipation with. lol! This waiting thing SUCKS!

The funny thing is, is that I am planning on driving down to VA Beach with my wife and maybe some friends for Memorial Day weekend. Any suggestions on where we should go? Great way to drive and enjoy my new ride (if it gets here on time). lol!

I'm not much of a meet person, I'm too old, or at least feel too old. meets are usually a bunch of young guys showing off mods, and since my only mods are going to be chrome 335 pipes, chrome kidney grills and tints, I probably don't fit in..
I can't wait to see your car barbera/ terra is one unique combo

lol! How old are you? I'm 31. I also belong to a maxima forum, there is a guy there who is in his 50's and goes to the meets. He's a really cool guy. I hope that the Bimmer meets won't be all young kids. I would think that there will be more mature owners, but then again, who am I kidding. lol!

I don't want to come off sounding like a d*ck, but all the pictures from the meets are of young kids who think it is cool to race 100mph on public roads and talk about tunning and look like extra's from the fast and furious and I'm not into that. I'm just a normal guy really into cars, since I got my license at 17. I have had a blazer, Wrangler, Durango, another Wrangler, Acura 3.2 CL type S, Infiniti FX35 and in another 2 weeks(hopefully) the BMW. I subcribe to Motortrend, Car and Driver, Road & Track, Automobile Magazines(my fiance calls them my porn)

You looking for places to go besides the beach? If you like amusement parks, there is always Busch Gardens. That is like an hour or so from Va Beach. To be honest, I don't really go to too many places. I guess I have been here too long. Already seen everything I need to see. I'll think about some other stuff though. There must be lots to do around here. There are certainly enough out of towners cruising along at 45 on the interstate! J/K.

I just hope that I will have my car by then or else I will have to take the Navigator, which is not bad but I want to drive the new car. lol!
