I wonder if has been sitting for a long time and the rubber and fluids are starting to break down. Besides that this is actually pretty sweet deal.

This is the typical snow-bird car that's used for 4 months of the year. Seems to happen a lot in Arizona. Back in the 90s, I saw a used 323 that was 10 years old with 3600 miles...and spotless. I actually looked at the dealer and told him he probably rolled back the odometer. "No way, no way...seriously, we got all the paperwork from the oil changes and dealer services."

If I needed a DD in Arizona, I might pick this up.
