Hello Bimmers,

Quick question and excuses my ignorance!

Are there any parts from E9X 335i can be used or the same in E60 535i, given that both has the same engine N54 and drivetrain? Like engine parts, brakes, transmission, fuel pump, suspensions, engine mount… etc.

I'm asking because I’m in Egypt and not all the spare parts are available, so I was wandering given both has the same engine?!

Your best bet is to research specific parts in which you are interested. My favorite parts research site is realoem dot com. You'll need VIN numbers of the respective vehicles. If you don't have VINs, I recommend searching used car sites, like autotrader dot com, to find VINs that correspond to vehicle types you are targeting.

It really depends on the part. On FCP Euro if you're looking for parts it'll tell you which parts are interchangeable. For most engine parts they are interchangeable.
