HPF 135i/335i BOV Kit - Sneak Peak
The rapid prototype process is completed, and we will be starting production on these soon. We're looking at around 2-3 months.

Looks nice, you should post pics of the rapid prototype. We have a large scale one at work, pretty insane what they can do (create products that nothing other than RP machines can create).
Where does the BOV stand with the Stage 1 and 2 builds? Are these being worked on concurrently or does that 2-3 months leadtime represent the starting of the stage 1 and stage 2? |

Yes, the BOV kit is designed to work with all of the FMIC kits. I believe the only one that may have some fitment issues is the AA kit since the outlets aren't angled up. We've elminated all of the restrictions in the factory piping, and have increased the diameter. The kit is plug-n-play and works with both the factory intake as well as our new intake manifold that will come with stage 2. This kit utilizes the new Synapse blow off valve that uses a dual chamber design that allows very light throttle changes to release pressure but still flows enough for high horsepower engines with the larger chamber. It also doesn't utilize diaphrams so it is much more durable and it is designed so that the pressure it holds back helps keep it closed. Each blow of valve is tested to 100psi. This particular blow off valve won the SEMA award.

Please, don't ask an arm and a leg for it when its time to be released on the market!
Also, will there be a group buy thread for this? If so, I'd like to be added to it. Finally, will there be a combo pack: HPF intercooler + HPF Charge pipe? If so, sign me up for one! Vasil |

Ya bungs were might first thought also-with everyone running meth and now a lot of people running nitrous you better put some bungs on there. I bought my Stett charge pipe and BOV mainly for this reason.

The problem is, I read the N54 does not work well with blow-off valves because the ECU factors in air that escapes through the valves instead of entering the engine and this is not good at all (I supposes it causes too rich fuel mixture).
Diverter valves are the ones working properly with the N54. I am not sure the old-school approaches are the best for N54.
