Question for those who ordered Sirius option

Did BMW offer a free year of Sirius when you took delivery? Was any new subscriber package offerred to you? I have gotten no info on this.

I believe you get a free year of service but I'm curious how it works. I had a plug n' play unit in my old car, which I sold. I still have my Sirius account but I'm waiting for the new car to arrive. Does BMW give you a coupon or something to redeem?

your first year of sirius is free.. you get a letter from BMW.. you call sirius 800# and activate the account

Sweet. I already have Sirius in two cars and was wondering if I was going to have to add a third subscription immediately. Looks like I can delay paying the third subscription for a year! (that is, if I ever get my car...) Cool!!

When your car arrives,your CA will activate Sirrius by calling 1 888 539 Sirius ( 7474 ) and giving them your ESN number that comes with your system.You will get one year free and will be offered a discounted second year at the time of this activation.If you program your blue tooth phone first ( if you have it ) then you can make your first phone call from the car.
