I couldn't justify spending $50-$70 on a tow hook plate kit...so as ridiculous as this may seem, I'll just have to make do with it
Total cost: $5 and some supplies I had sitting around Here's a step by step DIY that I posted up: http://www.e90post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=749642 A shot in better lighting. Plate has since been shifted more to the left and frame removed as seen above. Last edited by vtsng; 09-25-2012 at 05:18 AM.. |

haha I'm suprised myself with these responses It was out for a limited time. I'm not using mine anymore though, I could sell it to you if you want it Thanks bro! Thanks i appreciate it! haha I was actually trying to find a way to zip tie it before I came up with this, but the plate wouldn't fit anywhere that was "ziptieable". Quote:
Thanks! Let me know if you have any questions Bought it from a local member actually. Much like the tow hook, I went the cheap route for the lip too. We'll see how it holds up |

TIP... I can see your rear wheels are not exactly flush to the body... 12mm spacers will do the trick...

Well done mod, and DIY. Car looks great, and you definitely have a good camera taking those shots. Very crisp.
