BmWhat app electric mirrors coding

I'm having trouble coding my electric mirrors to fold in when locking the car, I'm using the ivini wifi adaptor and the ivini full app for the coding. I've selected the mirrors to fold on locking, turned the car on and off as instructed, but when I lock the car, they still don't fold, I can do it manually by pressing the button insdie the car. On my previous car, I'd hold down the lock button on the key fob, but in this case it's not happening... Anyone had this problem? Main reason why I bought the thing!

Cheers.

There's is another option that needs to be turned on in one of the other modules. If you check on the ivini website it will explain which one it is

Do you also have the required modules to make it work?

Cheers for the quick replies.. Been out for another play, and it seems I cannot code anything in the 'FRM' section, wanted to turn off the seatbelt butler also, but it won't code, as I can't code anything from this section I obviously won't be able to activate the folding mirrors in there either... The car was registered 03/07, any suggestions?

What modules do I need to make it work?

I thought you could do this with the cable rather than wireless adapter. I've done it with my 2007 car no problem.

If using an iPhone you'll need the new genuine iVini Adaptor if you don't have it.

Ye, I have the genuine adaptor from the Ivini website, can't code anything in FRM. Pain really as this is the main reason I got it.

I had the same issue. Had to code in 2 places. Sorted.

Did that a while back though so I don't remember what they were.

I always code with the car running. Because after coding it tells you to turn the car off and on again

Ignition on or engine on? I don't remember. Mine seemed to work even with ignition off.

Mine just worked by turning the ignition off then back on! Didn't turn on the engine during the process

I always start the actual engine aswell. Otherwise you are draining the battery if you are messing through the options for a while
