What are you after - a navigation or phone ariel? There's easier ways than drilling the roof for the wires.

if its just a dummy fin u after...ebay is best bet u can get them from as little as a fiver.

Don't go down that route .... they look awfull, even though the pics look good.

I sent 2 back, and ended up getting a genuine one.

Go for OEM, e90 roof is slightly curbed, and cheap chinese copies will not bend to shape.
If i dont get it wrong, last time been quoted by main dealer £69 painted for fin only.
I used number plate tape from Halfruads.

I got mine from BMW dealer, around £30 for the part and £40 sprayed so total £70.00

My car was in for warranty work at the time and as I complained about travelling costs and time off work due to recurring problems they fitted it for me for nothing.

Can't complain and it looks much better than without it and best of all knowing its done properly. I think they used some form of bonding glue to attach it to the roof as there was a little excess around the fin after it was fitted. This just peeled off on washing the car and left no marks.
