Noob to coding, adaptive headlight issues

Hey all, looking to use INPA or similar to test my adaptive headlights, I head you can run them through their paces to make sure they work. Currently one is stuck all the way to the left (passenger side) and I am getting an adaptive headlight error. Sealing the ahl module made he code follow to the other side, but the headlight is still pointed all the way to the side, and they are not doing their auto level on startup. How can I test to make sure the motors are working with INPA, I'm pretty much a total noob

It would be advisable to check the small ball joint type lever that moves the lights.

There are several threads here that indicate the ball falls off the receptacle producing the issue you are having.

A couple of posts I read indicate the Dealer wanted to replace the whole assembly, but all that was required to fix it was to put the ball back in the socket.

How does one transfer this motor from one unit to another. I'm having a hard time unclipping my ball from the headlight

Bump, anyone know how to reset the adaptive headlights? I don't care if they don't work, but my headlight is pointed unto oncoming traffic so if I can reset it and at least get it pointed straight, that's good enough

Adjust it manually, Phillips screw driver and lower it. I did my brothers like this and it's still fine

that works for the up and down, but with how far mine is pointed left, the adjuster does nothing

I've read that at the end of the fender by the light there is a cover that pops open and u can insert a screw driver inside and adjust the left to right output

You can only adjust it inward, not outward. I pulled the whole headlight out to try to fox it, impossible without tearing it open
