Transmission issue?

Hi all,

Recently purchased a 2011 E90 335i, I just got some cooling system issues sorted by my mechanic and the car has presented yet another issue.

Codes as follows:
A0B6 - CAS:Selector Lever Interlock
4F97 - EGS: Ratio Monitoring, Clutch B-D

When I picked it up from the mechanic (who had also just become aware of the issue today), the car engaged drive fine initially, but about 30 seconds later it threw the transmission fault message on the dash followed by huge amounts of slip - the car was virtually undriveable at this point.

Managed to limp it the 1/2 mile back home, and have started doing some research into the causes here. Obviously 4F97 suggests that there are clutch pack issues but I'm very curious if anyone on here has experienced a similar series of events, in particular the A0B6 code which has left me wondering what sort of symptoms a faulty shifter could cause? Reading around online it looks like some people with 4F97 have actually solved it just with new seals and/or solenoids.

The transmission definitely felt like it had a lack of pressure internally and when it did manage to move off, the shift logic was somewhat haywire to put it lightly. Initially, I tried to override and select 2nd gear suspecting the clutch pack on 1st and Reverse but this made no difference and the transmission went straight for 6th despite being at a standstill. For more context, the cooling system repairs have taken just shy of two weeks, meaning the car has sat in close to freezing temperatures not being driven or moved - so also wondering if anyone has experienced low battery voltage causing anything similar (remote possibility, I know).

I've also got the below codes, which I've noticed stored before after the car had been sitting a while and never presented themselves in an obvious physical manifestation:

2DE4 - Valvetronic Servomotor, Activation, Volt Phase: Line Disconnection
36D4 - DME, Internal Fault, Activation Valvetronic: Malfunction (I'm worried about DME damage here caused by a faulty component).

I've searched around online but stuggling to find much in the way of people experiencing the same issues. Entering my 9th week of ownership and 7th week of issues so any help greatly appreciated - and no I did not expect E90 ownership to be a breeze! Will be getting it to a specialist soon but was hope to get some initial insight so I'm not going in blind.
