I just thought I would share my UOA since I have not ran one on this car but I have been using blackstone to test and M1 0W-40 in all of my vehicles for a years.

Was running Mobil1 but just switched to Motul after this most recent analysis

I got my oil change done at Turner Motorsports and they put Motul 5w-40 in.

I got one of these done at about 60k miles. For the life of me, I can't figure out how to post it. Long story short though, no issues, despite having a tune for about 50k of those miles.

I'm seeing higher Iron levels in most of the others N55 reports compared to mine @106,000 miles. Is that because those are tuned/boosted?

Dead thread I wanted to revisit. I just had blackstone done on my 2011 335i, n55, 90k miles and 5,000 mile oil change after winter in IL (very cold) on bmw spec 5w-30. It is stock beyond MPPK.

Blackstone messed up my account so there's no reference to n55 levels, but here was my result. I compared to other n55 blackstone reports and it seems the standouts are:

Aluminum (200% of typical values)
Iron (35% higher)

Lead and copper are 3 and 0, respectively.

Everything else was well within recommendations. Please note the "universal averages" they listed is for a typical gas engine.

Does anyone have insight into why aluminum and iron would be so much higher?
