So guess it was do now comes the fun of pulling everything. So while I'm in there thoughts?

You doing the whole hose or just the top? I've only done the flange you add to the existing hose but never had an issue with the hose on any of my cars. I did it with my OFHG both times. Only one time it actually broke during removal.

Of course, upgrade to the metal flange and just replace the hose and applicable hose clamps while you’re in there. Added preventative maintenance gives a peace of mind and is how you keep these cars “reliable” haha.

I plan to do all the hoses this summer, so for right now NO. But come July I will be doing all them to prevent further blowouts. I also ordered one for my Gal's 08 X3.
