I-Phone reset

Stuck the thing on charge and now it wont turn on..... Just a lit screen, which if you press the on button goes white but will not turn on...

Tried the past few hours

Any re-set mode i can try? (You know, like on a Nokia you could remove the battery and try starting again)

cheers

Don't you switch it on holding the middle 'O' button down - press em both together for a few seconds and it should do a reset - no info lost

Do that, then if it doesn't work you will have to restore it, its straight forward and just follow the on screen instructions.

you should have a backup of your iphone in itunes, itunes does it every time you connect the phone to your computer.

This is usually caused by excessive browsing of extreme porn sites

Just looking at tits and bums instead usually resolves the issue

Holding the on/off button and home button = soft reset. Fixes most minor gincs and software bugs

iTunes restore = hard reset. Restores all to factory settings. Re sync and all your music, photos and contacts are re loaded onto the iphone. Make sure you sync/back up regularly to avoid lost data.

You can only make ringtones from music brought from the itunes store, when its downloaded go to it and right click and you should see create ringtone click on that then follow the instructions.

oh you will have to pay for it as well

I do know a way of making ringtones for free but for some reason with the new update to itunes it doesn't seem to work anymore

Carlos, do you still have the box?

Unplug the Iphone from it's charger, located the box, carefully put the phone, charger and cables back in the box. Now take the boz back to the shop where you got if from and ask for one of these

You must be the only male south of 65 that can't operate an Iphone! Supposedly Apple have done really well in recent years by making technology simple! I guess they never had you in mind
