[E92] Left bonnet catch won't latch properly
Only had the new car for a short few weeks so
haven't really had much chance on opening the bonnet. But the few occasions when I try to close, the left (drivers side) catch doesn't "catch" like the passenger side. I have to go in, release the bonnet again, fiddle the tab, open and try and slam it shut again. Tried gentle close, gentle push, slam and repeatedly pressing on it, hoping it would catch. Still haven't figured a way to do it easily. The only thing I noticed is that if I try and push the catch, the dodgy one is very slow at bouncing back to its original position whereas on the good side, it will snap back reassuringly. Makes sense? What's the cure? WD40? New catch? Slam dunk it even harder? Never had to do it with my previous E92s.

I've tried greasing it and didn't help.
I'll try degreasing it or adjusting it. Only just found out that you can adjust it.
