It is an internal bearing upgrade, it increases longevity of the turbo under prolonged upgraded boost (meaning anyone running a tune pushing boost above stock levels). It was an option I chose to spring for when I had intentions on keeping the car, but a moment of clarity hit me in the form of realization that I can afford an M3, lol. So my miscalculated intentions will benefit somebody else in the long run.

Here is a good article further clarifying the benefit of the thrust bearing upgrade for anyone interested.

Car is back and the turbos are currently in the break in period. This is the current state of the car. If a buyer prefers the "as is" state the price will be 24,000 with stock wheels, no CSL trunk and no flat bottom steering wheel. Price with the BBS Impul's can be negotiated.

55 LED angel eye retrofit with matte black housing (May be swapped for stock lights, if so they are already spoken for by a friend so please no Pm's about the lights, lol)

Rear End

A few extras

The cars interior will be getting the works this weekend with a full Leatherique conditioning, Wolfgang interior clean and condition as long as a detailed clean up of the engine bay and air filter recharge.

Interior in the process of cleaning:
Leatherique leather conditioner, Meguiars and Griots leather cleaner/conditioner with carpet cleaner and a Wolfgang clean and condition was also done.

The seats covered in conditioning oil, it will sit for 24 hours to work in then be scrubbed clean with Leatherique cleaner, warm water and a soft scrub brush.

Custom door cards disassembled and little bits sanded, wiped, sprayed with adhesion promoter then sprayed with semi gloss black. M3 leather door and dash trim also installed.

All speaker grills removed and disassembled to remove inner foam. This mod creates the M3 style door speakers allowing to see the speaker and grill "skeleton".

Bump, still for sale. 24,000 firm without the flat bottom steering wheel, BBS wheels and CSL trunk. Surely someone will eventually appreciate all the little subtle mods not seen on many E90 335's.

A new user had allot of good questions for me that I thought may be useful posted in this thread. Any questions to any of my answers don't hesitate to ask. Bump, lol.

- Has the car been garaged since you have owned it? (I notice you have a home garage - what about at work and otherwise?)
Car has always been garage kept and no garage at work but it is never under a tree and always away from main parking areas.

- Have you had a Blackstone oil analysis performed on the car?
Never

- How many miles are on your coilovers?
10k since I've owned them, not sure about the previous owner. They where pre-owned.

- What brand are your matte black kidney grilles, or did you pain them yourself? Plastidip them?
ECS tuning matte black.

- What brand and color/temperature LEDs did you use for the interior?
Bought them from this vendor, not sure temp.
http://www.ebay.com/itm/14-Lights-BM...ab5cba&vxp=mtr

- Is any of your door card paint peeling? What type of paint did you use?
No. Duplicolor auto interior, sanded, alcohol prepped, adhesion promoter and 4 coats of saint black.

- Tell me about the center console - is this a custom piece you made, or is this something you can buy? If so, where did you buy it?
Custom stitched and wrapped by me.

- Is any of your wrapping peeling or fading, either on the roof or the window trim? How many miles on the trim?
No wear. Window trim has 10k miles, roof about 3k miles.

- How long has your M3 carbon leather trim been installed? Any scratches or runs?
10k miles on M3 trim, always gently washed with warm water then leather treated.

- What steering wheel are you selling the car with, if not the sueded one pictured? What condition is it in?
Selling with stock m sport, with trim alcantara wrapped. No wear on the steering wheel, treated 3 times with Leatherique.

- Do you have any pics of the ///M door sills? Are they scratched up at all?
Only in the thread I posted, but they are not sill specific. No scratches all are flawless and wiped with quick detail every other wash.

- Do you have any links/details on your headlight retrofit? Is it just powered by a 55watt HID? Can this be easily swapped with something lower-power, like a 35watt unit? Where are the ballasts mounted? Did you do any complex wire splicing/fuse pulling to install these?
http://www.e90post.com/forums/showth...1048511&page=3
The whole light is a stock Msport light other than the light trim matte black and the 888concepts 55 led rings. All four rings where soldered to an old led bulb connector I didn't need, and heat shrink wrapped (done the right way). All mounted using JB Weld epoxy.
No fuse pulling just disconnected the battery did the work, installed the lights and boom gorgeous rings error free.

- Any close-ups of the carbon fiber/black diffuser? What brand? Is it peeling, has it been cracked, etc.?
Mod bargains diffuser, never cracked and not peeling. Always coated with Gtechniq c1.5 silo seal quartz based uv protection. Photos in my build thread if you search threads started by me.

- How many miles on the Vargas turbos? What other mods (other than the thrust upgrade) did you get with the turbos (tough to read your VTT invoice)?
About 2k miles. They are the stage 1 with thrust upgrade and turbo install kit, no parts where re-used on the install.

- Any curb rash on the stock wheels (which I assume you will ship with the car?)
No curb rash, but some have the dreaded top coat peel, not real noticeable. Seems unfortunately common on the wheels.

- What kind of tires (size as well)? How many miles on them?
Stock wheels:F:225/40/18 R:255/35/18 Bridgestone Potenza run flat
BBS Wheels: F: 215/40/18 R: 245/35/18 Hankook Ventus V12
- Any paint wearing on the touch controls (start/stop engine button, HVAC controls, radio controls, etc.)?
None, start button ring was peeling but it was repaired by me through the same process as door card trim.

- What major (and minor, I suppose) maintenance is upcoming on this car?
No major, walnut blast has been done, valve cover and gasket done, oil just done and a new battery. I will look at service intervals upcoming the next time I drive it.

- Any squeaks, creaks, grinding, etc.? Particularly suspension and interior trim noises.
Rear deck speaker grill has a slight rattle and an occasional creak when turning left which I'm sure can be ironed out with a good alignment.

- What condition are the headlight housings in? Any haze, have they been resurfaced poorly in the past, etc.?
No have always polished them with an abrasive polish then coated with Gtechniq silo seal for uv protection.

- Do your tires rub when the car is loaded down?
Yes they do, 1/2" higher will eliminate this.

- Are your fenders rolled, and if so, how were they rolled?
Yes they are rolled. A local forum member used the fender roll tool that connects to the lugs and used a heat gun. No paint damage or cracks he did a great job. (No baseball bat rolling lol)

- Any cracks or tears in the seats? Any stains, discolorings?
None

- Do the inside door grabs (not the metal door handles) still have all the original "soft-touch" surface on them?
Yes, always kept up with Wolfgang interior cleaner and protectant

- Where did the previous owner live (any snow?)?
Lafayette, LA. Rarely if ever any snow.
