I just replaced my battery and discovered a wire that was not connected when removing the old battery. It is highlighted in the picture and is coming out of the positive loom on the harness. Any help on where this connection may belong?

Can you take a zoomed out photo of the whole battery? It looks Ike the female to the male connector that splits off of the negative terminal. One of the splits should be going to the blue port on your IBS and the other should connect to that wire. Also, don't forget to connect the vent to your battery, it looks like it is hanging loose.

I discovered that in mine too. I bet that if you look where the tape is you'll find a resistor.
In my case previous owner had bypassed the safety battery terminal and i think it might be your case. The vent hose should be connected, your about to have a mess if you don't do it. |
