OEM M3 Steering wheel onto base e91?
Is a manual pre lci e92 M3 steering wheel plug and play onto an automatic e91 with base triangular steering wheel? I don’t care about having paddle shifters that’s why I want to put a manual m3 wheel.

Your assumptions are correct. My brother did this exact swap. Yes, the paddle shifters will not work for your e91 without modifications.

I found going from the Sport wheel to an M Sport wheel to be the best mod, upgrade the things that you touch before anything else. The M Sport wheel is thicker, feels better and is a great compliment to the ZHP shift knob with alcantara boot.

Don't forget the airbag isn't the same so a new airbag is needed as well as a steering wheel.
This is one of the best Mods I ever did. When I was involved in an auto accident since the airbag went off both the airbag and steering wheel had to be replaced. so I made the upgrade. |
