Independent Mechanic in Sarasota?

I'm looking for a good indy here in Sarasota to work on my wife's 530i. Anybody have recommendations?

I know this thread is old, but have same question. Anyone know of any indy shop in the sarasota/bradenton area? Or am I stuck with BMW of Sarasota?

There's swansons automotive, precision motorwerks, Luciano a-1, and another one on north Washington blvd I don't recall the name of it tho

Sarasota: IRC Performance... Jesse's Garage.. HPX Motorsports, down in Port Charlotte there is Avenue Garage..

Thanks for the info! Ill check out Jesse's Garage.
Not doing any upgrades yet, just hearing some sound when I engage the clutch (maybe driveshaft?), think something might be loose under the car so need to get it on a lift to check it out.

Go to German Cars of Sarasota. Just off 301 on 16th st. They only work on BMW and Mercedes. The Techs used to work at BMW or Mercedes stealerships. They have been around since 79, are honest and have good prices. STAY AWAY from BMW of Sarasota...They will rip you OFF!!!

this is a good place too, he only orders OEM parts @ cost from dealers too.
