FAMILY DISCOUNT OR RIP? ha

Alright, I've decided I want a 335i. This will be my first car and thinking about purchasing a family members. He's asking 35k w/ family discount haha.

- 2007 E93 White with Coral Red
- Navigation
- 30k mileage (at most)

MODS:
- Performance steering wheel
- 19" VMR VB3 wheels
- Eisenmann exhaust
- Airbox
- LCI Taillights
- Carbon fiber diffuser
- and a few other interior mods (boost gauge, suede gearbox bag, etc.)

Sound like a deal? Hes not budging on the price.

Thanks in advance.

your looking at about 3-5k in additions on top of a car that would sell around 28-30k. Plus you're buying from family, that "should" be a plus. I would pressure your brother to extend the warranty on this 335 before you bought it. i think it would be reasonable to have your brother include that in the 35k price. i think its a good deal, but you could always harp him to come down 1-2k. tell him to stop being a douche

That'll be a hot ass car, unfortunately your brother already knows this!

haha, tell me about it!
He has other mods that he hasnt installed but I could care less for them honestly. I like the way the car is right now and would probably add a csl trunk and mtec front bumper (currently has the aero lip).

I'll try to see if he'll throw in the warranty but I doubt it. Im offering $30k so I guess Im not being to reasonable either haha.

That price is stupid high for an 07.

Mods do nothing for resale so he needs to cut that crap out.

You could pick up an 09 msport for less than that.

yeah, 35 is high for an 07 even for a convertible. The dealer is probably offering him like 28 or 29 for trade in so you'd be doing him a tremendous favor by buying this from him.

I hope my family members are nicer...that's a bit high considering that's what an '07 335i was going for two years ago.

Check the BMW website and you'll get a sense of what the highest prices for these cars are, realizing that you can get at least $2000 off any price you see on a CPO sold by a BMW dealer.

BTW...those mods aren't worth anything, except to the person who installed them. No dealer or wholesaler will increase the price because of them; indeed, they'll assess it at a lower value due to the mods because they cannot provide any warranty coverage for them. Highest value cars are stock, in excellent condition and with low miles.

The color combo for your family member's car is nice.

Is this generally what ppl have been seeing or is it just your general rule of thumb? Haven't bought a used car from a dealer ever and am back in the market for CPO 335's.
