FS: OEM Potenza RE050A almost new! only 2800 miles on them!

These are the OEM Potenza RE050a RFT's that came on my 2011 335xi. The sizes are 225/40R18 and 255/35R18.

New re050a tires come with 10/32" of tread and are new on tirerack for $290 for the fronts and $360 for the rears.

Since about 93% of the usable tread on the fronts remains, a fair price is $270/per front tire, and $335 per rear tire.

These guys are nearly brand new! I'm prorating tirerack pricing according to how much tread remains down to a barely usable 3/32".

When viewing these, keep in mind that new tires come with 10/32" of tread. The tread depth gauge cannot even show any wear on the rears!

I can understand your pricing on these tires may make sense to you on a theoretical basis. However if you look at what lighly used tires actually sell for on the forum, you will see they are way overpriced....

Nice looking set of tires. Can't be sure, but it looks like you're measuring tread depth to the bottom of the groove, but it should be measured at the wear bars.

Tires are alot like a new vehicle, the second you take off the lot you have huge depreciation!!!! I would take some time and re-think your pricing, because for that small price difference, why not just buy new!!!!!!

Good point, Daisy16905. And, I'm not sure if Delaware is a hotbed of E46 Fanatics, so these will probably have to be shipped, which will escalate the costs and will make this sale impossible. OP, put your ego in your backpocket and consider coming down at least 40% to stop the landslide of critical feedback on your pricing rationale.

Good quality pics, though!
