Hey! I've been in Houston.. every single week through November. I usually get back home on weekends but something might be telling me that I shouldn't bother with coming back for just a couple days...

Last night I cut a corner too sharp and ran up a curb on the passenger side. The front wheel rode right up the curb but the rocker panel scraped across it. The rear wheel caught the face of the curb and kicked the car out.

Now I'm left with a scraped-up rocker, rear wheel and the car is now out of alignment. I'll just leave the car with Classic for the week.

By the way, thanks again for suggesting this. They did end up finding an oil leak (just the filter housing -- I think we all have a leak there)

I also got door lock actuators, wiper blades, new brakes, cigarette lighter junction box, low mileage oil change and spark plugs. (oh, and a bunch of "free" empty starbucks cups and napkins courtesy of the techs who took it for a joyride & didn't clean up their mess )

Still pissed that no one besides me can hear the high pitched whining sound coming from the front of the car at low speeds on decel. I guess I'll just have to live with it.

I looked up the fix for it in my Bentley manual and it's not bad. I'll just have to keep an eye on it and DIY it next time. I didn't even know it was there, and I wasn't losing oil really. And yeah, I think every E90 has this leak. Everyone under warranty should get a free fix or 2 while they can

My oil filter housing also has a leak from a bolt that cracked in half. Someone tightened it up too tight!

any of yall go into classic with mods? Im lowered, jb4, and intercooler. I don't mind taking the jb4 out, but would like to keep everything else on. My car is leaking a leaking a little oil at the oil filter housing and just very little underneath the car. Really need to take this in while I have cpo left.

Take out the JB4 and you should be OK. Who's your SA?

I take mine to BMW Dallas and Moritz. I have DCI, a huge stett intercooler, JB4 and KW suspension. Moritz just did a full service on it - plugs, oil, fluids, etc. No issues. Mine is under warranty, though. I really don't think they care about light mods. Set your JB4 to map 0.
