Waterless coolant

Seems as though I may be replacing my water pump, which would be an ideal time to change the coolant.
Is anyone using waterless coolant or have any opinions/knowledge about using it in my 335i

When my pump and thermostat got done last year I did consider using the water wetter stuff but left it too long. From what I recall you are supposed to add that stuff first. I'd already bought some coolant and deionised water.
You can't really go wrong with the BMW coolant but I havent read up on waterless coolants much.

I have ran Evans waterless coolant in a couple of vehicles and I think it is great. I was considering running it in my 335i but really there is no need. With the cooling mode set to "Sport" in MHD and a new radiator and fan, I can't ever really get my coolant temps north of 220F and it's 100F here almost daily for almost half the year.

My experience of Evan waterless has been much less positive. Be aware it can catch fire if it leaks onto hot parts, I've seen two examples of severe damage from this. Secondly it's horrible stuff to handle and must not be mixed with any conventional product or water. Suitability for the EWP is unknown too and that alone puts me off. Use the right A/F as specified and everything works as it should.

Yeah am not going to bother now, I did wonder if it would help with cooling as the coolant is going to be drained & flushed when the new water pump is fitted. Am just going to go with BMW coolant now.
