Texas Inspections

Ok guys, need some help here. Just moved to texas and need to get inspection done so I can register my car. I just went to a place, but they wouldn't do it because I have tint on my front windows. Do any of you know of places around the McKinney/Plano/Frisco area that will still certify the vehicle with the tint not being an issue? Please let me know.

Alright, called them. They said my 20% will fail. Has to be 25 or greater.

Anyone have other recommendations?

You will pretty much just have to drive through the bad parts of town and hope you get lucky. Any reputable shop will fail it because they don't want to be hit with the big fine.

That's not too bad. Would rather do that than deal with removing and getting tint redone. IS there a contact or reference I should give or explain it to them?
