I can't speak definitively with regards to other products. But I think we have something special/unique here. And we aren't even done yet.

now i'm also driven a few kilometers with the new fw and maps. i'm really impressed with the new software.
the car has a noticeable improved response at all rpm's. over the entire speed band i feel more power, especially at higher rpm's.
the best of the best is the "new 6AT" in my car. its shifting so fast and smoth. i can only say :

shiv, thanks for my "new" car .... great job

I actually like how the latest used map is retained, even with valet mode enabled. The need for valet is usually occassional, while most of the time I would be driving the car myself. If reverted to valet upon every start, then I must continuously re-select the performance map.

If the last-used setting was retained, then when valet is needed it can be selected right before dropping off the car, and even if restarted, the valet setting would still be engaged. After getting the vehicle back all that's needed is to reselect the performance map - ONCE - and it will be retained until changed again. Best of both worlds.

I'm another 6MT but I didn't email you because it's still 100+ degrees here, no point in loading the beta maps if I can't even get 2 runs in before hitting 250 degree oil temps.

Damn this Arizona heat!

Looking forward to the final release since it should be cooler by then

You can go ahead and try it. Your car will drive better even at low boost/low throttle. And the PROcede reduces boost when oil temp gets too high so nothing to worry about in that respect. Just email me at shiv@vishnutuning.com if you have a rev.2 and want to try the newest goods.

Shiv sent you a request via email and I didn't receive a beta map to test out. Is there anyway you can send one out to me?

I'm in AZ with the Beta maps and they are a excellent. Drivability is greatly improved and everything that people have been saying holds true even in the "dry heat". Nice work on these maps Shiv! I look forward to further updates!

Thanks!

One thing I haven't seen mentioned is that the car feels like it isn't working hard AT ALL. It's a really weird feeling... in a good way. This is night/day for me on my car at least, before when you got on it you knew the car was pushing.... now when you get on it, it's moving but it feels like the car is just going for a relaxing stroll.... while ripping through the RPM's up to 140mph.

it's hard to explain, but i love it.

To quote Lili in Blazing Saddles, "Oh, it's twue. It's twue. It's twue. It's twue..."

Absolutely stock E90 except for beta, at 5300 feet.

i agree there, i was pleasantly suprised and taken back when i gave it a little throttle on the highway at low rpm's... car picked up instantly compared to before and pasing traffic was just that much easier. Since i dont drive my car hard often, its very nice that daily driving has seen such improvements!

Read the email. The 6AT map will work on the 6MT. Try it.

Nope. For all set-ups. Just adjust User Torque accordingly (70% for Stg 1, 80% for Stg 2 or leave it at 85% for Stg 3).

DUDE, ya gotta read the email!!! No wonder you're bored!

As per email:
2) New 6AT map. This map will work on both the 6AT and 6MT.
3) The default UT% and Ign Correction % in the attached maps reflect what I run in my Stg 3 car (85% and 70% respectively). So adjust them accordingly for your car. If your car is Stg 1, set UT% to 70%. If Stg 2, set to 80%.
