Door lock actuator out again..

My door lock actuator died out again.. First time this happened was about a year ago and it was my front passenger side door, now its the rear drivers side door. Does anyone know why this keeps happening? Could it be a caused because of a bad fuse?

There is a TSB on this. My front driver door went out. The dealer wanted $550. I said no and contacted a BMW recycling yard. I paid $95 for the used part with a six month warranty and installed it myself. it took me one hour. Now it works like a charm. I also decided to install a bigger fuse for the door locks from 15 amp to 20. Hope this helps.

I had to have this replaced 3 time during the warranty period. So far this latest one still working.
