Some of us try. Decided against that FF for the time being, doesn't have the right gear box and that just adds to the expense (though I was ready to buy a new motor). So still looking. Racey, thanks for link. It sold. In other news I'm a first time dad as of Dec 7... Holding him now as I type this. Can't wait to take him karting if he's into it. Pic is of Ashton at 1 day old.

Thanks all for the compliments and well wishes. Tell you what, being a dad is tough the first two weeks (tougher for mom), but ~nothing~ beats getting your "first feedback" from your own son. Didn't realize it until after birth / now, but being a dad is a privilege.
Next Vettel? Doubt it, but I will teach/show him everything I know so hopefully by the time he's 7 if he can understand every thing I know or simply implement it (doing without knowing). By the time he's 12 he'll be telling me how to do things. By the time he's 16 he will be on a way higher level beyond my knowledge. That's the plan at least. Reminds me of that line in the Matrix: the difference between knowing the path and walking the path. lol

Cute kid, congrats sir.
Trying to keep a low profile until I get into my next set of wheels next year. Would certainly enjoy getting back out for a few drives with the rest of you guys. Seems like its been forever since I last saw most of you.

I got in on the M3 front control arm group buy a week ago, can't wait to get those installed and head out to HPR again.

Merry Xmas to you guys. Hope Santa was good to you all.
I passed another milestone with the little 328 this month. Officially 4 years of proud ownership and currently at 78K miles. Longest I've ever kept a car. To celebrate, I decided to get a little treat for the old girl before I swap vehicles in the spring. I pulled the trigger on Vishnu's new OFT for the 328. The real beauty is I can get it reprogrammed for free through Vishnu to work on the N54 when the time comes. Well worth the $400 investment.

Been a BMW owner for almost four years now. Glad to see this Colorado forum, a couple of the drives sound fun! I don't track my car or anything like that, but I do work on my own vehicles. I come here for the DIY posts.
Congrats to the new dads! I am sure you will love it! Hope to meet some day soon. |

Is it reputable? Cheap and reputable aren't always good friends in the word community.

Wow it's cold...... If anyone is still thinking about the spring BMWCCA HPDE HPR, there's still room:
http://www.rmcbmwcca.org/content.php...Plains-Raceway http://rmcbmwcca.motorsportreg.com IMO it's cheap (especially compared to other chapters) when you consider just a 1/2 day of track time is $100.

To the Silver E90 335Xi on I-25 last night:
That was a lot of fun , I was going home from literally just finishing installing my new FMIC.
