there are invisibulbs for the headlights that are silver coated, so look better when they aren't on, but still blink amber. The orange LED lights in the headlights you have to cut the wires, search in the DIY forum to do it.

I havent seen anyone that has replaced the amber taillight bulbs. A tech at the bmw dealership said don't do it, cops will pull you over easily (whether that is true or not depends on where you live among other things...), you can tint the white part of the tails as well to cover the amber bulbs too

heres the breakdown...amber led's in the headlights have to be disabled
amber turning signal bulbs are specially designed by BMW...i had mine replaced by someone who literally makes a housing for an LED bulb in front of your eyes...
the rear turning signal bulb you can buy from JLevi(blueish tint) or mike at F1autohaus(red) but you might get computer errors

yeah, if you can get the car programmed like I did , the Euro-style headlights, i.e. only xenons & no ambers at all, at night looks bad ass

Question!

So...being that I'm currently stationed in Germany with a US spec e92....do you think a local German dealership would be willing to disable the amber running light via code? I'm hesitant on cutting any BMW wiring.

Tell me more about how you reprogrammed your car. Sounds better than re-wiring, after-market kits, etc.

hey guys, sorry i didn't look back at the thread and need to answer some PMs, but a local member (NiVeDh) bought a OBII cable to USB and downloaded a bunch of German programs and figured out how to program it for his E90 so i paid him to do it for mine and he did a few other atlanta members cars

I will upload some pics asap, but basically the orange blinkers are turned off, so you only have angel eyes on for running lights, and xenon/ angels with the headlights on. Programming also can enable digital speedometer, key fob: folding mirrors, open windows, close windows, etc. It is pretty amazing that all of that stuff is in the car, but deactivated. There is a vendor member on here in Europe that can do it as well remotely for around $200 (I think, don't quote me on that). His name is Patrys. Former_Boosted_IS did a wonderful review: http://www.e90post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=417588

i will add pics soon, here is Nivedh's video of what he did for his e90:
