New to NCS expert, having issues reading modules
I have NCS expert setup correctly I think, but I am having issues reading my NFRM module. I have a 2011 335D, and recently downloaded NCS expert from bimmergeeks. Are there any updates I need to do to the software? Unfortunately the error messages are in German so I don't know what they are saying.
Trying a simple coding job of turning up voltage on my angel eye bulbs. Thank you for the help, this whole process has been a bit frusterating |

Yes the link is quite finicky. I tried downloading it at my work using chrome and edge wouldn't go for whatever reason. Went to my mom's house and used chrome downloaded just fine in 10 to 15 mins. I tried like 3 times then got it. I will see if I can upload it to my Google drive and pm you the link when I go to work tomorrow

Well downloaded the update and applied it, still not working. Now it gives me a weird german error message but nothing stored in logs. Looks like the same message about the cable. I have it set to com1 and the switch on the cable set to the right. The cable seemed to work when I tested it with xHP flash, but didnt do anything other then see if it connected to the vehicle i read vehicle information.

Set to 1. I figured out the problem..kinda. either my cable is defective, or there is something wrong with my obd2 port. The cable is really hard to fit in my port, and if I hold it in the right position I can successfully download and upload to my nfrm. BTW coding my DRL didn't really work because my LED bulbs I replaced in there don't change intensity with voltage. **Facepalm**. But I know the coding process now.
