Anybody swap out your motor mounts when doing a turbo swap? I'm planning on oil pan gasket so far while I'm in there along with Rogue transmission mounts. Anything else recommended for a 110k?

Edit: Rhetorical question. What motor mounts have you guys swapped out to? lol

I just realized that only our passenger side 'iS' mount is reinforced, the driver said is the same ole pos motor mount on all e9x haha. Has anybody went with any aftermarket?

Quite a few of us are running aftermarket engine mounts, see this thread; https://www.e90post.com/forums/showt...d+motor+mounts

I run Turner 60A mounts. There is a bit of added NVH, but with the RPM raised to 800-850 then the NVH is not really noticeable, only a little at idle, and I am super picky/anal about vibrations/rattles/noises.

This is good to know. I'm installing mine on Thursday. I went with the 2" inlets since later ill be upgrading my turbos, but i also purchased this adapter so the inlets fit perfectly on the stock turbo

Are you doing the install yourself? Let us know how those work out.

As you give it gas it applies the clutch slowly until full engagement. The other setting I changed was reducing the launch control RPM to 3500 rpms. Car takes off better with the less guilty feeling of a 5000 rpm clutch drop. Anybody else flashed it and have feedback? I have yet to buy a map pack.
I've done this too! Haven't gotten the map pack yet but deleted the stupid creep. Worth every penny for this feature alone.

I bought the manual 335is brake pedal pad from ECS so the pedals can look the way they should as well

Will do. I know the rear won't be fun, but I'm installing the down pipes at the same time and doing some carbon cleaning on the intake valves so that should give me plenty of room.

Hey guys, I hate posting a question about something thats been covered but I hit the 3 hour mark on searches. I'm at 75k and it's time for me to refresh the suspension, i'm going to grab a m3 LCA/bushing kit and while i'm in there I want to change out the struts/springs to the BMW Performance kit but for the life of me I can't find a vendor online. I'm looking for a little help in pointing me to a vendor, forum post or parts numbers

See if you can get the springs from these guys, double check the numbers though if I were you..

http://www.brrperformance.com/store/...oducts_id=1240

https://www.shopbmwusa.com/PRODUCT/8...NCE-SUSPENSION

Also don't get the full kit, you won't be happy with the BMW P struts. I have the yellow BMW P springs matched with bilstein B8. Getting Dinan springs are exactly the same and either Bilstein or Koni will be much much better and what you're looking for.

Mine did, and I removed it. Made a huge difference.

Did anyone install a short shifter (lever or complete kit) that they're happy with?

That's the only thing about my car that is still bothering me.

Where'd you get the "Limited Edition" start button? It's pretty clean, looks almost factory other than the yellow.

I'm more curious about the surround that says "LIMITED EDITION"--doesn't seem to be on IND's site.

Hey guys I notice on the rear diffuser in this picture it's white where it circled red. I looked at my rear diffuser today and it sorta looks like a sticker overlay. Was this a option with the 335is where it came with a overlay sticker or did the previous owner do it himself?

Can the overlay sticker be purchased online? I haven't been able to locate one.

The center carbon fiber is just a piece you can buy and replace it with the oem. I have one, but haven't installed it. Been debating if I should try the overlays or just leave it black when I do install the carbon fiber center diffuser.

JL also offers that same diffuser in carbon fiber which is what I have. But that pic is off a vendor website if I'm not mistaken, right?

Ya I say leave it black, you can tell the vinyl is different imo... and install that diffuser asap. It's easy and looks great, especially on a white car.
