The big thing that bothers me with Kriston's is the BBK selection... I really am very wary of those calipers. I just don't know how reliable that setup is... and I question how well the master cylinder works with them. It is a very interesting package he put together... but, personally, I'm much more interested in what works well from a performance perspective.

Thank you. My car actually has many more items than those two packages... my first post in this thread details all that is on the car. There are only two "base" options not included - besides the "nanny" cruise control and steering, I have every other option that is available for the car in the U.S. market along with both a complete M-Sport package and an almost complete Performance package (seats not available in the U.S., sticker doesn't make sense on a silver car, don't need the suspension as I brought my own along... and well... I like my wood interior).

-Daniel

JBT and Rotora Calipers come from the same factory Remember I had the OEM 6 Pot BREMBO setup on the car before, so i have had more then 1 BBK to compare them to on the same car. They perform great and this is from personal experience with both setups. Not to mention my BBK was tracked on dozens of times by Mr Soni him-self. before they were torn down by me and rebuilt.... So they have already proven themselves track worthy over and over again.

TiAg cars look great... I was a bit bored with mine, so i switched it up. I will go back to TiAg in the future its a great color. You can hold my title of nicest TiAg until than

You mean, they both come out of a Taiwanese fab plant are subject to the same QA. Yeah. I'll wink right back.

I don't know what you had on at any point in time - but the very fact that you say you had a Brembo solution and you took it off, completely and totally discredits ANYTHING else you'd have to say.

So... you're track evaluating your brakes with what measured driving skill... at what facilities with your 328? What qualifies you to make this determination? Clearly Mercedes and Ferrari should have made their equity interest in Rotora, not Brembo, right?

1.) Who is "Mr. Soni?"

2.) "himself" is not hyphenated - just an fyi

One simple question. What's the piston/cylinder variance level on each of the pistons on a single caliper? Are they all exactly the same?

Matter of opinion - its just mine or that of the others in this thread. Of course.

I lost track.....are you guys battling it our for best TiAg on the site or something? Not sure how this turned into a who's bigger contest, but nice setup FourPtDrift. Good choice of components.

I like what you did with the front especially since I have the same thing on my E92. I am not too sure about the aerodynamic down-force qualities of the lip tho bro. I dont have much confidence in the bolts and 3M holding it on, but if you do, I'll go along with it. I'm still waiting for that thing to go flying off and smack my windshield above 120. haha

It looks alright. I mean...my E90 is WAY better. If your looking for a cheap mod that will do a lot for your car, I highly recommend getting a black 335 emblem for the back. I put one on and surprisingly it made a world of difference. In all seriousness though, your car is sweet and it gave me semi-wood.

I like that idea... any recommendations on a good source for the black 335i emblem?

If only it had the same local humidity affect on girls...

No, no battle from me - I'm just glad so many appreciate how I put together my car - and thank you for the kind words!

Mine is completely bolted on... not just the handful of pre-drilled holes. Its bolted on VERY firmly. And truthfully, all I need it to do is correct the laminar airflow that travels along the curved surface of the center of the M-Sport bumper - and it does.

I don't think you need to worry. Besides... worst case scenario... you'll just end up driving over it.
