$40 for 3 day shipping - V2?

I requested overnight shipping for V2 and my credit card was charged $190 and V2 was shipped 3 day shipping via UPS. No one has responded to my emails so I am hoping that someone can explain why it costs $40 to ship an envelope using 3 day service.

Next day, usually means next business day. If they shipped it out on Friday, then you won't get it until Monday.

Unless they shipped it out on Monday and you received it on Weds. or Thurs. then I would complain.

Need more info.

Was supposed to be 155, which turned into 170 for most, but you got charged 190 which is even worse.

maybe you live in VA instead of California? Usually ship anything over night, they deliver your present by air plane. Cost of fuel is high for them. They will charge you at that price with the holiday season. Since vishnu shipping in bulk. i m pretty sure that they will wait until they get 50 unit or more to ship it out at one time. This is way, it is cost effective for them

That's retarded... they should just send those envelopes through 1st class mail. It would still get across the country in 2-3 days and would cost less than $3 to ship.

What part of 3 day shipping do you not get?

Tracking Number: 1Z Y07 120 12 9043 xxx x
Type: Package
Status: In Transit - On Time
Scheduled Delivery: 12/28/2007
Shipped To: GLEN ALLEN, VA, US
Shipped/Billed On: 12/21/2007
Service: 3 DAY SELECT
Weight: 1.00 Lb

From the pics that Shiv showed in another post, they look like small manila envelopes that MAY weigh 8 oz. Give me a break. Imagine what would be happening if the product was terrible.

Ironically, the people that are the most responsive on here are the ones NOT making $1300-$1500 for some wires that have undergone some decent engineering (I am not taking away from the fact that research and development has gone into this product, just that the line has apparently been drawn there).

Why order a 3+ month backordered product with overnight shipping? Seems a bit like a waste since you cant predict the ship date anyways

This may be a problem that would have been better to address with the parties involved rather than posting it on a forum. There is also a vendor forum that you could put this on. It just seems that you are getting people worked up about an issue that should be addressed with the Vishnu billing department. Their number is on their site if you actually want this resolved. If not please continue bashing their business practices over what may have been a simple mistake or UPS not shipping on certain days.

That could be some kind of error in charging. Check with the service they send you the packet from.

To be fair, the OP did say he has tried but has not received a reply from Vishnu. However it is the Holidays so you have to cut them some slack.

It sounds like an error so why dont you wait until you reach someone from the Vishnu team and explain the situation. I am guessing they will be glad to refund you the extra amount you paid for overnight and everything will be cool. If they wont that might be a better time to post a message like this.
