Will be taking it to track this summer hopefully... Getting DP and FMIC and meth before then. DP are going in today actually lets hope I notice a power difference I'm curious what have people put down to the wheels with JB4,DCI,DP? Thats what i have on my Xi now maybe 350awhp? Than with meth/fmic 400? Or is that wishful thinking for my Xi?

1) 335xi Auto w/Alpina flash
2) sea level, 54 degrees, 36% humidity 3) JB4 w/tuned flash, DCI, CP-E charge pipe w/Tial bov, 50/50 meth, stock exhaust 4) E45 and 3/4 of a tank) 5) Car weighs 3900lbs with me in it 4) 225/40/18 General G-Max, Drag-37 wheels 5) Several track runs on AT Ran a 12.4 at 115mph a couple weeks ago. For some reason I had it in my head that I should launch in M2 each time and I think that screwed me big time. I'm going back again soon hoping for a low 12, high 11 1/4 mile time. Thoughts? Is high 11's possible?

You have an XI with AT transmission... You should be have to do 1.7-1.8 60'... Just with better 60' you will be in the low 12's or high 11's.
With a 2008 XI 6AT (Alpina Flash), JB4, DIC and 94 octane I do 1.8 60'... I break boost around 2.5k RPM.

I should have launched from 1st gear. I don't know why I decided to do it in 2nd.

2nd gear launch is fine for 335i's on street tires... but for us, 335xi's, we don't have traction issue!

Went to the track for the first time today. Terrible condition, nobody could hook. Weather was 75* and calm. The 335xi could DESTROY some bracket racing.
335xi E92 6AT Mods: JB4 map 5, 7 gallons E85/6 gallons 93, BMS DCI Tires: Conti DWS 17" 225 at 32F/28R Pulled off highway, warm engine and ran a 12.42@111 Best Pass: 60' 1.78 330' 5.17 1/8 7.92 @ 87.9 (oddly my lowest speed) 1/4 12.27@115.0 Backed it up with a 12.32 @ 114.77 on a 1.75 60'. Overall made 14! passes, with 8 being between 12.49-57. Very consistent. Suprised with the MPH. Didn't know AWD/Auto could trap 115. Worst run of the day was 12.9 @ 110. Spun 1st and hit the limiter. Proof: The event (Timmayfest) had 30+ M5s, some blown, E90 M3s, some blown, and no one cracked 12's. Except for the AWD coupe. There was a 610 rwhp RWD 996 that ran a 12.21 so he got me for best time of the day. Color me very impressed that $500 in mods + some gas got me a 12.2 @ 115

They are slower on average compared to the n54. I plan to go back to see what time I can get the car down to. I literally went to the track after work and only had enough time to make that one pass.
So I don't know if I was launching at the correct rpm, if maybe I could have shifted sooner instead of letting the car do it, etc. But I was impressed with the time being the very first pass ever with this car. |

Haven't made it out to the track but when I told my muscle car frieds i can run mid 12's on my 2011 6spd mt xi they laughed at me and said more like 15's.... I seriously wanted to bitch slap them. I'm near fbo. Jb4 on 6g of e85 and 91 pump, cai, vrsf dp, and dinan intercooler.

I ran consistent 12.8's with stock runflats, jb4 map 5 with 5 gal's e85, all else stock. Seems this is a bit slow. My mph was 108/109 when I was running a 13.1, but once I got my 60 foot down to a 1.7 (12.8's) I was only trapping 104-105.
Something seem off? |

MPH might be a bit slow, but that makes sense that your MPH is lower if you 60 foot is quicker...

I changed out the plugs, and likely coils next. But it looks like I may not have another chance to get to the track... |
