Exclamation BMW Canada Announces Limited E90 335xi xDrive Sedan Special Edition With Power Kit

As announced on E90POST HOMEPAGE.

BMW Canada is pleased to introduce the MY2011 BMW 335i xDrive Sedan Special Edition available only from Production Weeks 27 through 35 (July/August).

The 335i xDrive Sedan Special Edition combines true exclusivity with enhanced driving dynamics. For the first time on a BMW 3 Series Sedan, 19” alloy wheels are fitted from the factory. The Style 313M wheel compliments the M Aerodynamic Kit to create a sporty and appealing design package. The highlight of the interior is the Carbon Leather trim, directly from the M3 Sedan. BMW has never used this interior trim on any model other than the M3. With a focus on interior aesthetics, the Smokers Package is installed in the centre console, including a cover for the ashtray and 12V socket. The centre console is trimmed with BMW Individual Piano Black wood for a deep and glossy finish. The interior is completed with an array of stainless steel pedals.

Vehicle dynamics will be further accentuated with the BMW Performance Parts Power Kit, increasing the engine output to 320hp (+20hp) and 332 lb-ft (+32lb-ft). The Power Kit, with its Overboost Function will allow temporary torque output of up to 369 lb-ft. Combined with the BMW Performance Parts Sport Exhaust, this cat-back exhaust system adds style and presence with its single-wall stainless steel finishers and pronounced acoustics.

The BMW 335i xDrive Sedan Special Edition will be offered in two exclusive colour combinations:

1. Jerez Black Metallic Paint with Black Dakota Leather upholstery Jerez Black has only been offered on the BMW M3 until now.
2. Ruby Black Metallic Paint with Oyster Dakota Leather upholstery Ruby Black is from the BMW Individual range of paints.

Due to the limited production, vehicles will be allocated on a first-come-first-served basis" BMW Canada Inc

They mention the Performance Kit AND the overboost function? I thought only IS models have that.

Very interesting. Looks like an awesome package, but I'm confused about the overboost (N54??).

Also package says mixed-width tires ... I thought XI had a square setup?

But damn ... I'd have added that to my car in a heartbeat if they offered it.

^^ The E90 335xi has a staggered set-up on the M-Sports package.

I, too, would have added this when we ordered our '11 in Feb 2010....Oh well, they always tend to spice up the final year models to help move them off the lots.

No pricing? No new suspension kit to kill the driving-on-a-cloud feeling, but they give 19" wheels...

No thanks. I'll keep my home-brew "335isxdrive". It has the N54

I doubt that this will be less than 65-70k. Possibly even more. Pretty cool though.

So true but at least 335is has the dct which still makes us a little unique. However it sucks that everything else is being handed Down to the other 3 series models

Yes they will have to tell you the APR but it's like getting blood out of a stone.

The rates they quote and the figures all abide by the legislation. It's just a weird way of calculating it but in the main it's because of the balloon payments on PCP that just makes it easier to deal in flat rates and then APR it up at the end for comparison purposes.

So it's basically an xDrive with the power and exhaust of a an 335is but I didn't see any mention on additional cooling, stiffer engine mounts or DCT. Wonder if that's part of the package?

I believe the Performance power kit come with the additional radiator included. The 335is is just a 335i with a toned down version of the BMW Performance line mixed together with the M-Sport package. As for the DCT, i doubt these models will receive that gearbox, especially since both the ones shown had manuals. If hat transmission were to be included or optional they would have boasted about it.
