Pull out the main wiring harness and cut the red wire. It will also disarm the airbags.

Welcome elalona!

Do a serch for 'seatbelt chime', there are loads of threads around on this topic.

I think the dealer can disable it by reprogramming.

Cheers

Not in the US. Getting a second seatbelt clip and clipping it in is the only way to do it without screwing with the wiring harness. Not that I care, I wear my seatbelt, but just answering the OP question.

I always drive with my seatbelt on (safety for all). But I put it on when I'm driving away an not before I start the car. This alarm sound then can and will be very irritating.

This alarm sound is probably used to get a higher rating at the Euro NCAP-tests.

The only usefull alarm sound is the one for the handbrake and for the lights on (only when you're not having light sensors on your car like mine in the past). Other bings, bongs or other sounds should be illiminated.

Btw: that's my opinion

I stand corrected, thanks!

Hmm, I also put on my seatbelt when driving away, but cannot remember the car (german spec) making more than one chime.
