Ipod your 335i. How?

Well, I have a 335i coupe on order, and I would like to ask the dealership to install that ipod accessories when the car arrive.
However, when I call their parts department, they told me that the car already comes ready for ipod, and all I need to do is go to Bestbuy and get a regular ipod cable. Is that true?

How do you current 335i coupe owner connect your ipods now?

Thanks!

Don't know for certain as I don't have one... but just get a cable and plug it into the port provided in your center console... its right next to the that cooled cup holder thing.

Isn't that just a regular analog AUX input?

Just installed the ipod interface in my 335. In the arm rest there is an AUX that you can access the ipod. However if you want to control the ipod through the idrive system without looking at the ipod the interface this is a much better system. The interface also charges the ipod.

yes, just use the regular single jack plug cable like http://www.circuitcity.com/ssm/Belki...oductDetail.do

it's a analog aux connection and use your ipod for valume control

Oh yea, that's what I am looking for.
How much does the parts and labor cost you?
My dealership doesn't seems know about that part.

No...they are just referring to the AUX port...I wish it came with the interface. Maybe later on it will be a factory installed option.
