Getting ready to take off and sell my AA headers from my 2009 328i. They have ~ 10k miles on them and are coated with Swain Tech White Lightening coating. Can't post pics right now as they are still on the vehicle, will probably remove next weekend. Have about $1300 into them (including the coating), reduced, reduced, asking $800. Shoot me a pm if you have any questions.

$700

Correct, the ceramic coating is meant to reduce heat and improve performance (lower temps). If you google Swain Tech White Lightening Coating you will see that this particular coating when applied is 7 times as thick as other ceramic coatings. Honestly I am not sure how much better it is but I did a lot of research before purchasing and am very satisfied with the results.

Here are a few pics of the headers installed, not great since access is limited but give you an idea of what they look like as is. Nice and subtle, no bluing. You'll notice a shiny spot on the pics which appear to be bare metal, this is not a scratch to bare metal but the way the material reacts when scratched, it gets shiny but the integrity of the material is not affected.

I will post more pics when they are removed.

Usually these go for anywhere between 500 and 800 used. Your ceramic coating is nice, but makes it harder to sell because of the price. Good luck man, it's a fair price you're asking.

Trying to decide if I can stomach that. It's quality for sure, but should I spend the money?

Took headers out Friday and installed oem manifold.... the AA are doing a good job holding all the papers down on my work bench right now. What? Is this Walmart? I have a feeling prices are going to start falling.... oh no

Lowered to $850.00

Cars in shop getting warranty repair (window regulator, windshield washer reservoir replacement, valve gasket and engine oil pan leak repair) then it's going up for sale.

Headers lowered to $800

Here are pics after removal, a little dirty and a few scratches but coating still intact. FYI, if you're not a fan of the off white swain tech claims you can paint them with header paint.
