ga6hp19 Vs 6hp21
Hi everyone I have a 2009 335i xdrive with a ga6hp19 A/T. I messed up and bent the mechatronics connector pins when I was swapping out the shift solenoids. I do have a spare trans but it is a 6hp21. The part numbers are different on the mechatronics units but i was wondering if they were interchangeable with or without coding the VIN. If not could I swap it with another mechatronics unit from a ga6hp19 with a different part number? From what I’ve read part numbers don’t mean anything when it’s still your series 6hp they are identical. Just can’t find anything about compatibility from the 19 to the 21
